GENDER : MALE
BORN : 1954
NATIONALITY : ITALIAN
DIAGNOSIS : PANCREATIC CANCER

INFORMATION AS GIVEN BY THE PATIENT (AUGUST 2010)

In October 2009 I was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in the Ullevål hospital in Oslo, Norway. I had a 10,5 cm tumor that had grown into the vena portae, a major blood vessel. I was put on chemotherapy (Cisplatin) and lost a lot of weight. I also started with a special diet. In March 2010 I stopped with the chemotherapy.

In December 2009 I started with the ECT therapy and since then have a treatment every other week. Now, August 2010, I have gained over 10 kg in weight and feel good. I travel a lot and perform in Jazz concerts all over Europe. The tumor is getting smaller, the last CT scan showed that it measured 3 cm in size. Compared to the 10,5 of October 2009 that’s a big reduction!

I am sure the ECT treatment supports my healing effectively and I will therefore continue with it as long as necessary.
