Patient no 14

GENDER : FEMALE
BORN : 1926
NATIONALITY : SWEDISH
DIAGNOSIS : OVARIAN CANCER

INFORMATION AS GIVEN BY THE PATIENT (MARCH 2004)

I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in 2002. I had two operations and seven rounds of chemotherapy. Then I had pain in my lungs which were filled with water. The doctors removed the water but when I coughed I felt pain.

At the time of this interview (March 2004) I have had 5 treatments of ECT- Energy Cell Treatment and now I feel much better. I can take long walks, I do not need to take pain killer tablets and my sleep and hunger patterns are normal.

My doctor at the Karolinska University Clinic in Stockholm thinks I am doing ‘fantastically well’.
